The Cayman Islands does not have a state health insurance system. The government does however, provide some form of healthcare service through its public hospital and clinic system, HSA or the Health Services Authority or HSA which provides primary care, specialist care, emergency care, provides some coverage for prescription medication, diagnostic tests, and medical equipment. Beware that HSA’s coverage is very limited for these services and might not cover all costs.
